SportSoft is a company dedicated entirely to computer solutions within the leisure industry. Main customers include health clubs, gyms, hotels and sports centers in both the private and public sector.

The current product portfolio includes computer programs for handling access control, swipe card printing, membership administration, point of sale, bookings, course management, direct debit and fingerprint recognition.

Based in Harrogate, it has been in business since December 1990. Clients include clubs and centres as far apart as the Isle of Lewes and Malta with between a few hundred and 25000 members. All products are designed and developed by experienced staff using the latest .Net programming techniques for PCs running Windows 2000 or XP.

Programs can run concurrently either on a single PC, on a network and can also be delivered as a subscription over an internet connection.

Work is constantly underway to improve and add products and bring them into line with customer requirements.

The company offers a complete after sales service including telephone support, upgrades to the software and training. Provision and support is also available with respect to hardware, networking and other related peripherals.

Future plans for the company include an expansion in software development to encompass internet applications such as area-wide booking systems
