About SportSoft (U.K) Limited

SportSoft is a company dedicated entirely to computer solutions within the leisure industry. Main customers include health clubs, gyms, hotels and sports centers in both the private and public sector.

The current product portfolio includes computer programs for handling access control, swipe card printing, membership administration, point of sale, bookings, course management, direct debit and fingerprint recognition.

Based in Harrogate, the company has been in business since December 1990. Clients include clubs and centres as far apart as the Isle of Lewes and Malta with between a few hundred and 25000 members. All products are designed and developed by experienced staff using the latest .Net programming techniques for PCs running Windows 2003, 2008 and Seven.

Programs can run concurrently either on a single PC, on a network and can also be delivered as a subscription over an internet connection.

Work is constantly underway to improve and add products and bring them into line with customer requirements.

The company offers a complete after sales service including telephone support, upgrades to the software and training. Provision and support is also available with respect to hardware, networking and other related peripherals.

Future plans for the company include an expansion in software development to encompass internet applications such as membership portals and area-wide booking systems

Spa Management

The Spa Management Module alleviates the complex task of managing appointments in a Spa or Salon environment. The main purpose of the system is to allocate the various resources, such as staff, treatments, rooms and equipment to your clients’ requirements. This means you can be sure you have not double-booked a member of staff or a piece of equipment.

Access Control

The SportSoft Access Control System will increase security, keep payments up to date and provide a wealth of marketing information on attenders and non-attenders. As well as picking up lapsed or overdue members, and members visiting outside their allowed time, it can be set-up to warn on birthdays, messages, impending renewals, fitness tests and courtesy calls. At the click of a mouse you can choose to view a members account or view their days bookings. A search routine allows for members who have forgotten their card or ID number.
