The SportSoft Access Control System will increase security, keep payments up to date and provide a wealth of marketing information on attenders and non-attenders. As well as picking up lapsed or overdue members, and members visiting outside their allowed time, it can be set-up to warn on birthdays, messages, impending renewals, fitness tests and courtesy calls. At the click of a mouse you can choose to view a members account or view their days bookings. A search routine allows for members who have forgotten their card or ID number. The system will accept input from proximity, magnetic strip and bar-coded cards as well as a highly secure, fingerprint recognition system. These devices can be placed on a desk or attached to a door or turnstile to physically control entry. The software is truly multi-media since it includes photo imaging and will optionally play sound bytes to make recognition of the different warnings easier. Finally since it runs under Windows, your other programs, or any of our other products, can be loaded onto the same computer and run simultaneously, saving time and money on excess hardware. Customers register by placing their finger on the scanner for a few seconds while the system records their unique measurements - images of the fingerprints are not stored.

Subsequently, upon entering the centre, the customer places the same finger over the scanner and their details will appear on the screen in the Access Control system.

The main advantages of the system are the high level of security it provides and the low cost of running a system with no swipe cards to lose or replace. Should a finger become damaged, another finger can be used to re-register.
