If you require information collected at your head office from your remote or franchise sites, or you just want to allow your members access to all your sites, you will need one of our multi-site solutions. The most advantageous option is the single, central database, it is easier to maintain, backup and the data at all sites is live. It is also possible to book facilities at any site from any other site and all your bookings can be easily displayed on your web site. You would either require Microsoft ‘thin-client’ technology in-house or SportSoft could host this system for you – this hosting service is sometimes called ASP, Application Service Provision.

SportSoft uses two methods of handling multi-site operations. The first, the single database system described above The second a distributed database system where each site is automatically synchronised with the head office during the night.
